On Saturday we were able to take in some sites in Austin. Russel and Jillian invited us to go on a hike to Mt. Bonell. ( I don't know if I spelled that correctly.) James and I were prepared in our hiking shoes, and pants, however we were pretty surprised when we arrived and it was 105 man made rock steps. Everyone else was wearing flip flops and shorts, so it seems that we still have quite a bit to learn about Texas. We did have some shaved ice though and it reminded us of Logan. It was pretty funny, the shaved ice place had the exact same sign that the ones in Logan have, even down to the same font. It was like they were owned by the same people. Gwen is doing a lot better now that she is on an antibiotic. She weighs 15 lb. 10 oz. she is really starting to like her toys and has a lot of fun interacting with James. I know that James is really excited about that, he loves to play with her and we have been really lucky that he has had the time to spend with her since we have moved out here. She really likes to play in the water with dad. We hope that eveyone had a great Father's Day. Because we sure do love our dads.

what nice pictures. She is growing up so fast. It sure helps to see her often. It was nice to see all of you. Who knew mountains in Austin were manmade? I never heard of that either. Now you know.
love,
Syl
