Congrats to Tannie and Dan Smith! On July 25th at 11:48 am Tannie delivered a healthy and perfect little boy....introducing Logan Zachary Smith. We paid a little visit to Tannie and held Logan he is only 8.8 lbs. and 19 in. he seems like a little feather compared to giant GWEN! So Austin was such a good older brother and he was giving Logan little kisses and here he is helping me out by holding Gwen for the picture. Look at all those little babies. I am happy to announce that Dan is also doing well after a little fainting spell during Tannie's labor...but he is recovering and right back at Tannie's side. Lucky little Tannie only had a 2 1/2 hour labor. She said that it was much better the second go around...we shall see. Anyway it was really eventful and pretty dang exciting.

On Saturday we wanted to go to a swimming place called Barton Springs, but it was overcast and there was a little bit of rain. so we went to have lunch and snow cones and then we came back here to play in our pool. Gwen did so good she stayed out with us the whole time just floating around. Dan showed us some of his skills from his swim team days, but Tannie beat him in a race...mind you she could have a baby any second! James tried to drown me, but luckily I was able to escape with just my life. Russell practically burned his legs off in the hot tub, and I think that hot is an understatement, really it was scalding! And to top off all of the excitement Austin had an accident as we were getting ready to leave. WOW that was eventful. Oh and for those of you who were there I hear that Taylor Michelle is just fine. Thanks for playing at the pool with us.

For Pioneer Day....well actually we did a celebration on the Friday before, and Tricia and Allen invited us to this great Old West park, it was really neat they had a big BBQ style dinner and ice cream, a place to get your photo taken, a petting zoo (we got there too late for that one), archary games, western swing dancing (shown above), wagon rides, and fireworks. I am sure that I missed something, but needless to say there was a lot going on. We had some pictures taken but I will have to post those later because I need to scan them in. But here is Tricia and Tannie and Gwen dancing, Tannie is only 4 days away from having Logan. (the baby) and while they were entertaining Gwen James and I did a little flashback to our Snow College days and went dancing!!! It was really fun. I do have to say that I am a little out of practice though. Tricia was the baby holding queen, she even tackled two at a time with Gwen and Simone!

This is a fun little game that we like to play in the morning when we are having a little tummy time, which has now been turned into roll over time. It is surprising that she can do it so fast, I can turn around and when I turn back she will be flipped around and playing in a split second. It is so great.

This was a little celebration for my birthday. It was lots of fun. We had dinner, a little treasure hunt and then we played Settlers of Catan. That is right we have found some addicts just like ourselves. Tricia made dinner and it was great and James gave me 101 reasons that he loves me, along with some other really great things. It really was a wonderful day.
