tricks for kids
Here we are at our ward Trunk-or-Treat. Gwen and I are trying our hand at the cake walk, but we didn't win. That is alright because I don't think I could have eaten another bite at that point. If you will look closely behind the Barlow's there is a really cute fish. The role of the fish is being played by Megan Frost and she is accompanied by her mom Kim. I love the little legs sticking out of Megan's costume.
Tannie joined us for a little tricking and a whole lot of running around and she brought Bob the builder (Austin) and a very good little pumpkin(Logan). Simone changed out of her ducky costume before I could snap a shot of her, so we will have to try that one again later.
Here we have a little chick that was busted eating the lotion bottle. Oops! She was getting a little tired of the costume by this point.
But not before we were able to take part in the fishing pond. Here James shows her how to do a perfect chicken cast and for all of her efforts she was rewarded with one of those little rubber sticky hands. I do believe that we found a different home for that one. I wanted to try our hand at the bobbing for apples but Gwen would not have been a very good candidate with only one tooth, oh well maybe we will just hold our own in the bathtub. So after a long day of scampering about the church house we took a tired and cranky, but really cute little chicken home. I do believe that trick-o-treating will have to be a quest for another year. Kudos to all the parents out there that take part in the festivities every single year, hats off to you. Mom and dad I don't know how you did it each year with so many of us to keep track of. But none the less thanks for doing it.
