On Sunday we were lucky enough to attend Uncle Allen's Birthday dinner and with Ryan and Leslie, and Grandma and Grandpa Honey, there were 15 of us in all, I'd say that is quite a few. So we spent the day catching up with family and visiting about everyone's trips to TX. On Monday Ryan and Leslie did a little shopping and James was able to take a half day, so we all had the chance to meet up and go for a little sno cone. Then we went and saw Barton Springs, the botanical gardens, and Part of Zilker park, most of it was still blocked off from the Rolling Stones concert the night before. We also took Ryan and Leslie to see the U T campus gift store so that they could find some gifts to take home, and to show them just how much pride there is out here. I think that they were able to get a good feel for the school spirit. For dinner that night we found our way to a little place called the Hula Hut and we were able to sit outside on the lake. That was really fun. After a few more stops we were back at our place and the nightly game between the sexes began, who would give in and say that it was time for bed first...not the women. We were prepared to go all night, right Leslie. On Tuesday we had to part ways and I am sure that Ryan and Leslie were excited to head back home to see the twins, but we were sad to see them go. But we hope that they had enough fun to at least make them consider coming back again.

Mmmmm, did they love Sno Beach or what? I must make it there before it closes next week.
Lonna and James,
I hope Nate and I can come see you sometime and you can show us all of the cool spots!

Dear Lonna,
What nice pictures! I am glad Gwen enjoyed her plastic bag and her Halloween treats, two treats in one!
It seemed natural to have Ryan and Leslie there in Texas. I hope they get the huge HINT and move to Texas instead of even furthur away.
Love,
Syl
Hey nice handbag, I need to get one that is more reliable i keep buying these cheap ones that wear out in 4-5 months. It sounds like you had a wonderful time with the family. We are looking forward to a little time ourselves have a Happy halloween. Love to you all from us all back here, in the snowy Utah, well it is nice today and all the snow has melted but it is atill cold, only 45, but that's what happens when old man winter decides to cool things off.
Let me first apologize for disrupting so much sleep...Gwen included. That said, I haven't had that much adult conversation in years, Lonna, we definitely won that battle!
Ah, where to start?
You guys are the best tour guides ever. Our vacation was eventful, but not too intense. You definitely made us feel at home by making sure we didn't miss our weekly dose of heroes and prison break! And sleeping in was a must, even if we had to miss certain Sunday activites...Miss you already. Leslie
