wet sand
Well for those of you who may have seen the news lately it has been raining here...like crazy. But for a brief evening the clouds were away and so we had a little BBQ and pool party with the Frost's. The girls found the volleyball court which was mostly mud, and had a great time sloshing around until we were ready to eat. Megan is stuck in a puddle here, and Gwen didn't even care that the camera was out...That is how much fun wet sand can be. Who knew?

Did you say volleyball court? When I first saw this, I thought you were at the beach! That must have been a crazy storm...We could definitely use one of those around here.
And leave it to wet sand to save the day! How funny to see Megan stuck in the puddle! I wouldn't mind having a little quicksand to slow my kids down every once in awhile. Glad the storm didn't stop you from having a blast. We can't wait to see you in--how many days on your countdown? :)
Was this the outing that Megan jumped in the pool by herself without anyone around? The girls are so cute and I love both of their swimming suits. We're getting a lot of rain clouds up here but not a lot of rain, I guess I should be glad...

Oh how fun! You're a good mom to let her get a little dirty. That is always so hard for me to do. I need to live a little more I guess ;-)
It looks swampy. Kids love playing in puddles.
