checkups and shots
Well today we took Harrison in for his two week check up, even though it is a little bit late, and we took Gwen in for her flu shot. We decided that since we have a new baby and Gwen is in Nursery we better take all the precautions that we can. So here is everyone after the damage was done. And boy are we glad that we have two hands. James has a great calming effect on the kids, and when he wants to take a nap they are both so calm. Honestly I don't know how that happens. Obviously that never happens with me. It is a good thing that James is around right.

I wish Bush would quit vetoing children's health insurance so Megan could get a flu shot.
Great picture of the kids with their daddy. I was awful with shots for my kids--I couldn't watch so I made Kelly take them to those appointments.
James you look so calm, and I'm so grateful that you take part inthis little ordeal. It really does help to have a sympathetic one because the mom has to be the heavy. We love you keep up the good work.

Oh you are so on top of things! We have been putting off flu shots for awhile this year. James must inherit his calming effect from Brent, who is basically the only one who can hold a conversation with the twins while stationary. It's a talent that comes in handy with two! :)
James is like the horse whisperer, except for with kids. 'James the Kid Whisperer'. Lonna you should try to channel his powers so that you could get a nap in every once in a while. Maybe the tranquil children have something to do with the fact that they just got poked with a needle. I know more than a few people who would not be jumping for joy after that.
4 hands are a must for Doctor visits! I am glad James's other talents are coming in handy now. Having a calm effect is important....he must have gotten it from Brent.
