Day 3
Well I have to say that I have learned quite a bit about myself during this potty training stage, and since my memory has failed me on so many things about Gwen when she was a baby, I feel like I should document what I have learned so that when it comes time to potty train Harrison I will remember how it really was, and not just some glorified version of what really happened.
1. I never knew how frustrated I could really be.
2. Gwen and I share a serious stubborn streak.
3. I am almost immune to the smell of urine.
4. I am pretty sure that I like the rewards/prizes better than she does.
5. I feel like this has been a little traumatizing for the whole family, but we are still alive, and dry.
6. I miss the diapers when she has an accident and I am left scrubbing the floor.
7. I am just as tired as she is at the end of the day. Maybe a little more.
8. I dream about potty training. And the little tune the potty makes is stuck in my head for a good part of the night.

I wish I could tell you that a perfectly potty-trained child is right around the corner, but we have not weathered that storm yet either! I really admire your dedication-3 days in a row is a marathon. I think I need to stop being so laid back about it and jump in for reals. According to our book, the twins should have been potty trained in a day...Hmmmm. The only thing that's keeping us going is the fortune we are going to save on diapers, just think!! :) Hang in there!
Keep up the good work! I am very proud of you, I'd probably give up before day 3.
Oh how I laughed at the video clip! Sounds like you have made a great beginning! just be patient, consistent and eventually, before high school, she will be potty trained!
I promise Lonna, It will get better.. You are doing an amazing job..
Love

Oh my goodness, girl - i'm with you!!!!! i feel like giving up but I really want to get her potty trained and not change two sets of diapers, the expense is what kills me the most. keep us updated and GOOD LUCK. you are amazing, hang in there! lots of hugs and good wishes your way!!!!!!
just keep with it i am glad it not going to take her too long
you are an inspiration to me. i figure i'll wait until you are done and have success and then i'll give it a try!! let me know some pointers.
You are an inspiration to me too, especially since Gwen is younger than Abby. Keep me posted and maybe when you are finished you can come do Abby next b/c it isn't working for me.
