everybody's working for the weekend...
Major rule of playing outside in the summer sun...stay hydrated. Gwen has a little drink...
Harry has a BIG drink...
Gwen has a little more...
And pretty much Harry finishes off the drink. And then it is back to pool time, or maybe it should be called keep away from Spock. The kids get out of the pool run around and Spock chases them and then they run back to the pool as fast as they can before Spock can get them. The pool is a safe zone apparently.
Harry uses the pool to pool method so that he won't get caught by Spockers.

We also attended a little reception for James' cousin Alex who was recently married. There was cake and twinkle lights, and a little added dancing.
All the kids wanted to dance with James.
It was a little warm that day, but the heat and humidity can't stop the music, or the kids from discussing their dance moves and then running and jumping and "dancing" into the night hours.

The reception looked really fun! I hope you got to dance too! I can't wait to meet spock! He is so cute. I love seeing the kids in the pool, an excellent way to keep cool in the summer. I am surprised you aren't in the pool too Lonna!
Has Spock gotten over his 'nervousness' around Harry yet? Wish I could have been at the reception, I bet it was great!
The kids and the dog look like great playmates.
Getting Spock was just like adding another child to the family. Look how much fun they all have together. I love that the kids swim in their undies. What's the point of swim suits when undies work just as well :)

Wow you have even added another pool to the mix, clever clever! Really you have figured out the secret to happy kids, a pool to themselves and a dog to chase, rather get chased by. Not to mention the undies! I hope you are kicking back with some lemonade in the background somewhere. I love those reception pictures--children a blur, sounds about right.
ps I'm not sending swimsuits on Saturday!
