Well here we are in Austin on the 4th of July. We really had quite an eventfull day. We started out with a little movie called Cars with Tannie, Dan, and Austin and then we made it home in time to see the amazing game between Italy and Germany that was taken into double overtime and in the last two minutes of the second overtime Italy won with two really great goals. Then we met up with Tricia and Allen, Tannie and Dan, and Russell and Jillian for dinner, some good ol' fashion fried chicken. It had been a crazy day weather wise and it was now pouring outside so we were waiting for a break in the weather, and it broke so we went down to Zilker park for the fireworks, the Austin symphony played some wonderful music...and it started to rain again, but we were in for the long haul we stuck it out and watched the fireworks in a drizzle. It was really fun to be with family so we didn't mind the rain. I do hope that everyone had a good, and dry 4th.

Way cute pictures lonna! That sure was a crazy fourth. I think that I am still wet. :-)
These are such cute pictures. We love it and you don't seem so far away when we can actually see you. Our 3rd was cool as usual we went to the fireworks and they started the wave and then again with lots of noise, and your dad was really missining the "WAVE" girl. As we were waiting for the fireworks to start, Isaiah, fell down one of those steps(and they are pretty big and got a goose egg royal on his head and they just iced it and kept watching. They were real cool fiereworks. Later. MOM
That bottom pic is gorgeous of the city! Sounded like fun. We missed the fireworks this year due to the rain. We were wusses.
