For Gwen's birthday we had bubbles and she loves them so much. After the spills and messes we still have some left, and here she is getting ready to show me how to blow a bubble, First she needs to "dip dip" and then

She takes a really deep breath and blows. She is getting better but 9 out of 10 times she blows too hard and nothing happens. Don't worry she will keep trying, even if she runs out of bubble solution.

Harrison loves to watch Gwen he thinks that she is so funny, I am not quite sure why, but hey whatever works I am just fine with. Keep him laughing Gwen and I will owe you big time in the future. Oh and if you notice that he is sticking out his tongue that is a little game that he and Gwen play too. As long as they are not making rude faces I am pretty much fine with it.

Gwen can't be two. She'll stay one in my mind until I see her again.
I guess you guys better plan your trip to that nation's capital soon.
I'm with Mike, go to DC. Better yet, come next week when we'll be there... It will be fun...
Anyway, I remember the good ol' bubble days with the soapy hands and feet and the endless fun that a bubble could bring. I'm glad Gwen has discovered that joy. Her shoes are adorable and as I just read through your last 2 posts I discovered that they were a birthday gift, I LOVE them!
I'm with you on the TV situation. I have actually just stopped watching altogether and turned all of my time over to this computer. I don't think that's a good thing...
Nothing says birthday like cupcakes and it looks like Gwen fully enjoyed herself. Happy Birthday little Gwen.
We love bubbles at our house too. Harrison looks so big sitting in that booster seat. Is that red bag on the table behind him your diaper bag? I can't see very much of it in the picture, but it looks like a fun bag! Where did you get it?
Julia I am glad that you asked about the bag. I have been meaning to do a post on it because I love it so much. I don't need to tell you about how when adding another child means packing around more stuff so this bag is great. It is called a lug bag. And the one I have is called the puddle jumper overnight/ gym bag. It is great you should check them out.
Attention!
What fun pictures! It looks like Harrison enjoys Gwen so much his toes are curling! I am glad it is warm enough there to play around outside. We, of course, had another snow storm in the evening! Will it never end!
That hairstyle on Gwen is so cute. I hope she continues to bring happiness to herself and her brother through attempting and eventually succeeding in bubble blowing. What a cute pair.
Lonna,
It makes me so jealous to see Gwen outside blowing bubbles wearing shorts!
I can send my kids out to play in dirty muddy snow, still wearing moon boots and gloves.
Love
Suzy
Your porch is perfect for bubbles. I'm glad that Gwen just keeps trying even though it's hit and miss. Way to teach 'em Lonna! I get sick of bubbles about the time the girls fight over the wands, though that doesn't apply here. Love Harrison's little tongue! Have I mentioned lately he is the most adorable baby alive?
Okay...bubbles, playdough, bouncy balls, and cardboard boxes are the best (and least expensive) toys ever!
Bubbles are so fun...but at what age can they actually blow the bubbles without making a mess?? And they both look so cute in these pictures. I can't believe how big Harrison is getting.
