swim baby swim
We had a chance to go to a playgroup the other day, and I was more than delighted when we got there and Gwen barely got her pants and shoes off before she was already in the water!
Harrison was right behind her, he wouldn't even sit still for a little picture. He saw Gwen in the water and he knew that was where he was going.
Yes that is actually Gwen playing in the water! She was having a great time with Tyson, Avery and Paige.
Dragging her through the water is one of her favorite things, she calls it swimming. Paige also got Gwen to go down the slide into the water!!! Amazing. Thanks Paige for taking care of my kid.

everytime i wear that suit, pictures end up on your blog. i have got to stop wearing it. they are not attractive pictures to say the least.
however, moving on to gwen. She was quite the little fish yesterday. even putting her head back in the water! it was great to see her keep going back to the water for more.
and harrison, well, let's just say he's a natural fish. he didn't want to be held back by his mom. he wanted to swim with the rest of the kids. i thought it was a very fun morning.
what a fun little swimming pool. You guys really know how to do play groups. I'm glad Gwen's finally discovered the good things in life.
Going to the pool sounds like a wonderful activity. It has been really hot and I could use a nice refreshing dip in the pool.
Look like a lot of fun and cool! The kids are growing up fast.

I guess your two are 1/2 fish which is good in the heat of Texas! Glad water is now a fun experience for Gwen!
Lonna, I'm so glad that you're a fan of the best show ever! I totally feel the same way, Comfort way overstayed her welcome. Especially the week she came back to "fill in" and Kherington got sent home instead... LAME!
Gwen is growing in leaps and strides this summer. First the pool and then the slide? I think she should write a book on overcoming phobias, though maybe it has something to do with Paige. :) If that's the case, can we borrow Paige to help the twins with their fear of public toilets? And I can't say I don't have that fear as well...
Looks like a fun day, the pool is the ONLY thing that's worth leaving the house for right now (yes, even church is pushing it).
