so long piggy tails

Well after I reviewed the last pictures I noticed that it was time to find a new do for Gwen. The pig tails are a bit too long and they look a bit scruffy, So I decided that I would attempt the single French braid, I know that it looks a bit crooked, but mind you she is one and looking around all the time. I don't know how my mom used to do it, but somehow she was able to make us sit still and the braids were always tight...real tight. I do have to say for the first go around I am pretty pleased. We will have to see what else Gwen will allow me to try in the next little while.

Lonna I would be interested to know what your mom's secret is, as I too have tried the french braid and had it last all of ten minutes. Which is why you are smart to take pictures early. The good news is our toddlers are too busy playing to notice what their hair looks like!

Lonna-it looks great!! I have to bribe Alyssa with a bowl of M&M's just to get her to let me braid her hair( And she is 10!!)
Kisses to Gwen,

That's amazing! Her hair is normal lengths...how do you do it? :) Simone's is super long, but still not long enough on the sides to go into anything like that...

I am impressed with the braid! She has such pretty hair. I don't know that I would be patient enough to braid the hair of a one year old. Its a good thing Eric is a boy because he has way too much energy. I have a hard time getting him to lay still long enough for a diaper change.
