crazy tired

Yesterday Gwen and I got together with Summer and Brooklyn and it was such a nice day that we were all out on the patio. The girls thought that it was so neat to be outside, another one of Gwen's favorite things, and so they basically wore themselves out. When we got home I thought that I would try to lay Gwen down for a little nap, but I didn't really know if that would really happen. I put her in the crib and walked out to put my things away, not two minutes later I walked back in to see this. She was zonked out and snoring! One foot in the air and all other limbs flailed out, with the blanket over her face. What a crack up. So I got the camera and after taking these pics I put her leg down, and she didn't budge for another hour. It is this kind of a reaction to playing outside that makes me really excited for the Spring and Summer, Just think how great naps will be after we go to the pool.

This is an adorable picture, especially how the blanket is covering her face. Kim sleeps just like that.

I am so glad it is warming up enough for outings. Kids seem to live for the outdoors! And we can't complain when they crash afterwards...My favorite is the little foot!

Ooooh, did you say POOL? Stop! I'm aching for that time to hurry and get here. Last summer was sooo great at the pool every day. Yes, the patio was lots of fun. Did it again with Brooklyn yesterday afternoon and both days of playing on the patio wore her out. Fabulous! I think we found a trick to knock them out?! ha!

The cutest thing about this post is that she was snoring, Taylor snores when he's really tired too! Kids fall asleep in the funniest places, positions, and situations, sometimes it would be nice if we could still do that. I think that the planets have to be aligned for Taylor to fall asleep on any given night. I think Gwen is about the most adorable thing ever, her pigtails are my favorite. P.S. I'm so glad to hear that you blow your nose loud too. I've pretty much been harassed my whole life with comments such as: (insert any loud animal) mating call, B52 bomber coming in for a landing, and one time little Meg heard me and asked if I was an elephant...

Hey guys, I just saw your post about the good times we had in Austin! Thanks for letting me hang out and eat your chocolate and peanut butter hearts and eggs!! I really miss lugging those TV's around for the video. If you are ever in South Weber, look us up and we can play a rousing game of phase 10 or settlers or something else that I might have a chance of beating James in!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

Dan
