bring out the sun..
We have been waiting for the sun to bring the heat so that we could make good use of the pool. Well today it was really nice, and so Summer and I took the girls for a picnic to the pool patio. The pool was actually being cleaned, but that didn't stop us from dressing for the weather and eating some yummy picnic food. The smile that Gwen is giving in the top photos is the one we get when we count to three with the camera...we have to catch the teeth when she is not expecting it. Bummer. Oh well at least we were able to see the new suits for the season. And all we can hope for is the sun to keep on shining for more pool days. Because who doesn't love those?

Where did you get that swimsuit!? It is so cute and actually covers Gwen's entire front! We panicked and bought the twins' on the way to the pool and I wouldn't say we started modesty on the right foot...
I hope it is the first thing you put in Gwen's suitcase because we just bought the girls a pool (shhhh!) for their birthday! We are counting on Gwen to help them test it out. :0)

What a fun picnic and shopping day! I still can't believe it was perfect pool weather and the pool was closed :( That's okay. Tomorrow looks like a great day for swimmin'....Woohoo!

This is just a comment in general-- I'm James' cousin Lauren- my husband Ross and I live in Kansas. And I think you are so cute! I overhead my dad talking to Aunt Syl about you and Leslie having blogs. So I wanted to take a peek. Anyway, just thought I'd say hi! Gwen is adorable.
...but that smile is so sweet! Love the swimming suit and the ruffles around not only the top, but the legs too! Sorry the pool was closed, but it sounds like you guys still made a good day out of it. So, apparently Mike has handed the "reigns" over to Kim on the blog, maybe you could help her update a little more frequently....
