the last hoorah!

This is a little place called Inks Lake. We have one last weekend with our friends the Frost's before they move and so we wanted to make it a good one. Here James shows Gwen that the water, though a bit cloudy is still safe.
Gwen is not so sure that James was telling the truth, but she did warm up to the lake later on.
Megan and Gwen need a little snack to keep them going while swimming.
Here are the Frost's. One big happy family. We ate at Mike's favorite BBQ place called Cooper's
Here is the crew setting up the tent. No James and I did not camp, I know that some of you were starting to worry that we had guts.
Now this is so funny. Right when we arrived at the campsite Gwen was ready to make a fire. She started to get some sticks, so I asked her to show me her sticks and this is the surprised face that I was given. I think that we will call her wilderness Gwen.
She found the perfect size rock for pondering. And the stuff all over her face is a mixture of dirt, soot, and powdered doughnuts.
It was such a fun day and Gwen didn't want to take a nap for fear that she might miss something. So by the time we were getting ready to go she was trying to keep awake by the fire. Within five minutes of being in the car on the drive home she was down for the count. What a good little trooper. Thanks to the Frost's for showing us the Austin ropes. We wish you well in D.C.

We officially pass the Cooper's baton to you. You are now required to force other people to make the hour and a half drive for barbecue.

By the way, was that Wyatt Earp eating with you? What a good looking mustache.

It was fun, thanks for coming.

Even though I have not met the Frost's personally, this is sad news. For one, Mike is the main actor in all of our films! Not to mention, writer/director/project recruiter, the list goes on...I'm glad you were able to enjoy the outdoors together one last time (Barlows outdoors? Shocking!) and I wish you well Frosts. :)

I am glad you explained you did not stay and sleep outdoors. My faith in you both was beginning to waver! She looks right at home with her sticks and fire side contemplation!
Love,
Syl

Hmmm, Coopers must be tasty to drive that far to it. I'll have to get the details. I'm sad that you'll be losing some of your best buddies, but glad you got to have fun with them. We will miss them too.

I think Mike and Kim are going to be very sad to move away from you guys. It takes a special couple for Mike to actually want to be friends with you and I know we heard about the potential you two had from the very beginning.

Anyway, thanks to James for opening Mike up to his filming talents. I think it's nice that you let him tag along, I know that Taylor and I enjoyed being privy to it.

P.S. I love Gwen's "surprised" face, it's classic
