looking back
Well I was actually motivated by Tyler and Jessica Pace's blog debate on who their daughter looks more like, and I have to say that we get a whole lot of Gwen looks like James. Well I was digging through the Dattage archives and I found this one, I was a little older than Gwen is but we have the same really blonde hair, and chubby hands. I know that the facial expression makes it tricky to really make a good call for those of you who have not seen other pictures of me as a kid, but trust me, she is 100% mine. If you still have doubts let me know and I will pull out some more pics from the forbidden early eighties. I just hope that my family will forgive me.

What a doll! You know who you look like to me in this picture besides your own flesh and blood? Do you know Olivia, Caroline's daughter? You look so much like her in this picture. Cute, cute, cute.
I think Gwen looks a lot like you, Lonna (we are grateful!) but I do think she has James's blue eyes, but your long, dark eyelashes. What a cute little girl you were!

What a little Toe-head you were. Do you think Gwen's hair is going to go dark too? I believe that Gwen looks like you, Mike has said so a couple of times.
I'm sorry to hear about your pregnancy woes. I guess when I think about pregnancy I forget how long 9 months is.... How much longer do you have?
Based on that picture, I think she looks a ton like you! She's such a cutie. We miss living near y'all and want to see you sometime before your little boy arrives hopefully :)

At first glance I really did think this was Gwen! You may be starting to sway my opinion from the whole 'Gwen as a mini-James' thing...I may need to look at a few more of those 80's pictures, just to be sure. I can't even believe how cute you are as a toddler!Gwen has got her work cut out for her.

Lonna, we've seen your family picture from when you were little and know that Gwen looks exactly like a Dattage.
That's YOU???? I can't believe how blonde you were! What a doll! Ok, Gwen really is your daughter :) I need to do the same because everyone says she looks like Josh but she is my little twin, and my family can attest to that!
