daylight savings

Thanks to the time change:
I had one of the longest nights of my life, Harrison played a good part in that, but on the up and interesting side Gwen took and almost 4 hour nap today. I don't know how that happened. And all because a of little movement of the hands of a clock.

oh man Lonna, it really screwed me up too. Not only did daylight savings time just so happen to fall on fast sunday. But the cruel fact of the matter was that our church is not until 1:00 so by the time all was said and done, I didn't put anything in my stomach until 5:00!!! I was dying to say the least. I might just give up fasting altogether.

Well at least you remembered daylight savings! We pulled the ol' show up an hour early to church. At least we got a good seat!! :) Then the girls went to bed an hour early last night but, bad news woke up two hours early this morning. How does that work? I'm glad Gwen took a 4 hour nap for you, what a considerate big sister!

It's bizarre how one little hour tweak seems to have a big effect. I hope Harrison sleep through the night for you sometime soon.

It is soo weird how just a little movement of the clock messes up the whole day.(or night)!
I was late for church, I woke up when the clock said 6:00(it was really 5) so I went back to bed, and then woke up at 9. Church starts at 9. AHHHH!
I think they should leave the time alone.
Hope you get some sleep soon.
Love
Suzy

I hate daylight savings time. Before I had children I really enjoyed that extra hour of sleep, but now its just one more hour of torture. Last year was horrible on Eric, but this year wasn't too bad. And Kaitlin just slept through the whole thing. She sleeps though everything. Except dinner. As soon as I sit down to eat (any meal) she wakes up and wants to be fed. I don't think I will ever get to eat a warm with again. I think the mothers of the world should ban together and get rid of day light savings!!

I feel for you, Sleep wasn't the problem it was the waking hours. The kids were ready for lunch at 9:00 in the morning. It will take me a week at least to get everyone back on schedule. Argggg

Oh jeeze....I usually love that extra hour but it screwed me up this time. I felt like I had way too much time on my hands.

I too suffered with fasting until 5:00 pm (when are they going to institute the 11% tithing option where you don't have to fast), but is was all worth it -- Megan slept through sacrament meeting.

Me and Kim got to make out in the back row like we were newlyweds again, back when church was fun.
