Hey Ladies...

All right, I am in need of a new pair of jeans. (what girl isn't?) Over the holidays I have tried on so many that I can't even count, well actually it was 10 different kinds, but my point is that I am looking for some good recommendations, so if you have a little pair that you love and want to share, please send me some help. I am curious to know what everyone is wearing.

Ok Lonna, here goes.... I too have been on the hunt for some seriously good jeans. I have never been the type to spend a lot of money on one particular item of clothing (hello, I'm sure you could have guessed that, I am related to Mike). Not that I don't like clothes, I LOVE clothes but I usually go to Ross or Wet Seal or Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, etc... You know, clothes that are cute, but totally affordable and can be ditched when the next fashion wave comes in. But with jeans it's different. The two pairs I have really loved were both a little more on the pricey end (Silvers) but after about 4 years of constant wearing, are starting to get holes. So a few weeks ago I was with my friends shopping and they both promised me that Buckle jeans are the way to go. Actually I have heard this from many a women that Buckle jeans are possibly the best jeans on the planet. I ended up buying a pair under the false pretenses that they would stretch "up to 1/2 size" after just a few short hours of wearing them. I ended up taking them back after 2 days of wearing them and no stretching was happening. They ended up not being the pants that everyone claimed the would be and I couldn't justify spending $72 on a pair of jeans that I wasn't absolutely in love with. So beware, since jeans are a staple in the wardrobe you should be willing to spend a little bit more on them, but make sure that they are they are the best pair of pants you've ever put on before dropping a bunch of money on them. I'll be interested to hear what everyone else thinks.

I know people swear it is worth it to drop 200 bucks for some sweet jeans, but I stick with the long and lean jeans from the Gap (which I usually get at the outlet for $19.99 on sale). Good luck on the hunt!

Lonna, Because I am short and a little on the heavy side, (which you are not!!) I ususally buy Lucky brand Jeans. I love them to pieces, and sometimes I can get them at Ross, or I even buy them from EBAY.. I also love my regular Old Navy jeans.
I am anxious to see what everyone else thinks too!

Oh dear, you know I love a good pair of Sevens. I never buy them at full price though. TJ Maxx always has some discounted from the year before. And I love Marc Jacob's jeans, buy at TJ's too. Or once you know what size you like the 7's you can buy them off ebay and just make sure they look authentic. There are some new ones at Target though that look designer and when I lose weight I'm curious to try them on and see if they have the same slimming effect as the designer ones. They look cute. Good luck!

I found my favorite pair of jeans ever at the Calvin Klein outlet store in Austin--you may remember as you were there!! Funny, at the time I thought, "Now I have to come all the way to Austin to shop for jeans." And so I will. I really think we can have some quality girls shopping time now while our husbands our off shooting movies. We'll find you some jeans. :)

My sister in law just got a pair of cute jeans from the Buckle. I don't know what brand they are but she said Buckle has jeans for every body shape. I don't know if this is true because I have not shopped for jeans at the Buckle before. I like Gap's Long and Lean jeans too. I also bought a pair of Levis from Costco that I like. Good luck with your hunt for a pair of jeans! Let me know what kind you end up with.

I like Old Navy jeans and just pulled down my pants (lol) to see what I'm wearing now because I like the ones I have on, and didn't know what kind they are.

Okay, they're back up. (thank goodness) They are SWAK and I bought them at good old TJ Maxx too. If I ever find a pair of jeans that I like on me, I have no limit on what I'll spend because come on, jeans are THAT important. But it's nice if I can find them for cheap!

I like gap long and lean too. (wearing them right now) But I've had mine for about 3 years now and they're pretty worn out. I bought a pair at the Banana Republic outlet in San Marcos that I love. They stretch just the right amount. Good luck.
