This weekend James' brother Ryan, and his wife Leslie popped in for a visit. They were actually looking for a place to live, and they found one too. So while they were here we decided to take advantage of the clear skies on Saturday and go shopping. There is a great outdoor mall called the Domain, and Gwen was more interested in the outdoor toys and fountains than shopping.

So naturally you would imagine that a kids playground would have animals to play on, but would you guess that there would be an armadillo? Only in Texas.

James was playing a game with Gwen and flying her all around the play place, and another little girl that was there asked her dad to do the same thing, but after only a few times he said he was done, and the little girl was sad because James was still flying Gwen around. I hope when you are older Gwen, you will appreciate how great your dad is.

And after the whole busy weekend Harrison is still recovering. Fast asleep. We are also battling the Cedar Fever here. My new best friends are kleenex, and allergy pills. Bummer, at least we are all still healthy. James had today off for the Holiday, and it was really nice to have him hang out with us all day. Thank goodness for the holidays.

O the good old fancy Domain. I hope you ate at California Pizza, and remembered us. I love the huge armadillo, you are right only in Texas, it would have been a true Texas salute if the armadillo was burnt orange.
What a good Dad James is. The other day Megan wanted to spin around and around,so Mike being the good dad did and afterwards he almost threw up. I guess we wont be going to Disneyland anytime soon.
And what is this news about Ryan moving to Texas?

What a fun playground! I am glad to hear James & Gwen are making memories together. That is fun! Harrison looks like he is practicing for the super hero 'the Hornet'! Isn't that James's secret identity??
love,
Syl
I think Utah will do a collective sigh of relief when Ryan and Leslie leave the state... Oh, who am I kidding we'll miss them very much. It's a good thing you and Leslie are the most consistent bloggers I know.
Great pics of the kids. I'm still jealous of your weather.
James' brother is moving to Texas? What great company! I too am impressed with James fathering skills. I'm afraid I might be like the other dad and get tired of spinning after just a few short seconds. Unfortunately I have the same genes as Mike and I would have puked.
Oh Lonna, I would take the Cedar Fever any day over what is going on here. You should be so glad that you're not inhabiting Logan, currently it's negative 12. Seriously, I don't know if I can take much more of this before I quit my job and just hibernate for the rest of the winter. I can't handle going outside, nothing is worth it.
I hear you! That Cedar Fever is very unpleasant and has hit our home too.
Wow...does that mean James will have a brother living in Austin? You never really finished telling that part of the story...where will they end up?
I never realized the Domain had those fun big playground animals. I've only been there twice and ought to venture over there again.
