weekend warrior

This weekend was a busy one for James. As you can see here this little contraption is a dolly and track for the camera. James and Ryan put this one together, and as James was putting the finishing touches on it Gwen just had to jump in and "help".
who knew that she was so handy with the tools? I guess that she gets that from her dad. Along with a keen interest in movie making materials. She wakes up in the mornings talking about "dads camera". Like father like daughter. I couldn't ask for more.

Yeah Gwen! We can all use a little help, especially when it is from a loved one!

I think my girls "helped" with the sanding of that dolly. That is exciting to me too as maybe they will end up somewhat mechanical. I think we should organize some sort of playgroup to encourage this newfound hobby. How did the shoot go anyway? :) I feel like we haven't seen you forever! That is how spoiled we have been in Austin.

how lucky can you get with two handy people in the house? It's always nice to have Taylor around because he can fix basically anything, I hope he passes that one to our posterity.

I am very impressed with your French braiding skills! I hope that Kaitlin will have enough hair one day so that I can practice braiding on her.
