We took a little adventure to Build-A-Bear and got some really fun little animals, Harrison got a puppy, and Gwen made a panda bear that she named kung fu panda, I know totally original.
On New Years Eve we tried a new place to eat, a little Thai food. So here is what the kids thought of it, and I think that made it a success.

Nothing like dipping a little chicken in some peanut sauce and some fried rice.

And the rest of what we ate.

Later that night James and Ryan were off shooting a film, and Leslie and I took the kids to burn off some energy to good ol' McDondals and here is a little preview of what took place...and a whole lot of screaming and yelling.

Then after that we made a pretty good attempt at the bedtime routine. Poor Harrison he is always the lone boy.

But he doesn't seem to care that much, as long as there are toys in the tub and water to splash.

A little splashing and some shampoo and rubber duckies, then it was clean kids and no sleep. James and Ryan were out kind of late so that means that the kids were up way past their bedtime and then we made out first attempt at 9 am church. Yikes! I think that time is going to take some getting used to. Its a good thing that we have all year to practice being on time.
So the lesson learned this weekend is trying yummy new places to eat is good, and kids staying up past their bedtime not so good.

Harrison is getting so big and grown up! It looks like you had a great weekend, and maybe I'll have to go get some thai food...
The food looked great! Can you use chopsticks? I'd starve if that's all I had.
Loved the pictures in the bath!

I sure enjoyed the pictures! The bath time was really cute! I love the pensive Harrison pictures.
Yummy. I love trying new food. And scary about Gwen's arm! (From previous post). That is NO fun!
Ok I'm going to have to try some of that Thai food. You had me sold before the pictures! And what's not to love about McDonald's, except the creepy Wizard of Oz dolls...I wish you'd gotten a picture of those! Actually not, Ryan thinks they look like voodoo dolls.
Ah, bath time. Poor Harrison is going to have memories of being the lone boy in the Princess Bubble Baths. I'm sorry we are not much help in that department.
Thanks for a great midnight outing as usual-our next morning attempt at 9am church was just that, an attempt. We'll try again next week. :)
Mmmm...that food looks so good and I am so hungry!
We're so glad that Gwen is okay, sorry you were so worried. I remember a time when a little girl said her arm was hurting and her mom said, "Oh you'll be alright, it'll feel better in the morning." Only the next morning we went to the emergency room and it really was broken. That's when you really feel like a bad mom. We really don't have any fun places to go to eat, we're supposed to meet a friend of ours for dinner on Friday and all we could think of is Bluebird because it is relatively quiet. Hope you have a great week. mom and dad D
Lonna, I got your package!!! I LOVE everything so much, especially the sweet little dress. You obviously understand how important shoes are to me and all 3 pair are adorable. You are so thoughtful. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
That Thai food looks yummy!!!
Nothing like a little chicken and peanut sauce and some mcdonalds to make the kids happy! looks like a great time.
I love the tub shots. I have ones of Kathrine and her cousins that look very much like those. Can't wait to bring them out at their receptions! :)
