Risk it all!

So I just won a game of Risk! Now if you have ever played the game with me then you know how amazing this little feat is. I am usually the first one demolished on the board. Not tonight.
To top it all off I was able (with some useful coaching by James, who was already out at the time,)
to clear the board of all the other player and win the game all in one single turn. Who could have imagined that, not me. So this one goes out to Mike Frost who would and could beat me seven ways to Sunday in that game. Wish you could have seen it.

Glad you won! I hate everything about that game though and won't ever play it! Good work!

Congratulations Lonna! The Queen of Risk! Chris loves to play Risk too. I must admit, I hate playing Risk as I am always wiped out during the first bloody battle which is probably why.

Wow~and congratulations Lonna! I think it's an accomplishment to even muster the patience to play the game, let alone the strategy to WIN! You deserve bragging rights for life, esp. in this family of avid gamers. While you're on this winning streak, maybe you should try your hand at the Barlow MarioKart championships Ryan organizes...:) ha ha maybe not.

ps. I am with that first comment, HATE the game, the last time I played with Chris, Rene and Ryan-I seriously walked out in the middle of the game with the excuse that I had to use the bathroom...(never came back). :) Guess I'm not a risk taker after all!
Which makes your win all the more impressive in my book! Nice work Lonna, I am glad your accomplishment is immortalized in blogdom! :)

She didn't need my help, I was the first one eliminated, that's how good my strategy is. Nice job Chica!

Congratulations, Lonna. Now that you've shown you can hack it in the minors, you and James will have to bring it out here in the big leagues.

By the way, we cracked open our new Settlers game the other day (that we got last Christmas, and haven't found anyone to play with) and invited over some kidless friends after nine o'clock. They had never played before, so we thought we were in for a real good time.

We lost. I'm sure it's because they pulled some kind of underhanded move like James did in that last game.

We miss our game nights.

Thanks for rubbing it in that you completely wiped Ander and me off the board in one turn... Naw I'm totally kidding. It's like I said, I'm so happy that you won instead of Ander or James. Guess white doesn't always win, does it?

oh geez, we can never break out Risk unless I'm prepared for high-stress, colorful language, and lots of bad feelings. As I'm sure you've gathered, this competitiveness runs in the Frost family. Fortunately (or unfortunately) Mike and my spouses have the same streak and therefore Risk and Settlers gets a little intense.
Lonna, I'm so proud of you for winning. The one and only time I won I was accused of cheating and then was sworn at (I promise I didn't cheat). Hopefully James was a little more accepting of his defeat.
