feeling guilty

I have to admit that I am feeling a little guilty, Harrison is the classic second child story. By the time Gwen was one month old we had videos and hundreds of pictures of her. But I have really slacked off with poor Harrison. Here is Gwen taking out her binki to give her baby a kiss.
Here is a funny little smile, sure it may be gas but none the less I got it on film!!! Yeah!
One of the classic Harrison looks. Just lounging around.
So in this little picture he has just taken the passifier out of his mouth, and behold he is not crying it is a miracle. So I am not making any promises that he will have even half of the attention that Gwen had, but I do think that I will be trying a little harder to make him a tiny bit more equal.

You sure got some cute pictures! and to get proof that Gwen loved her little brother will come in handy later when they are fighting!

Just wait until you have your 4th child. You'll hardly have any documentation that he/she even exists. Really, it's not true, but that's Mike's line-up in the family and he is convinced that no one even noticed him.

No one did notice me. The only pictures I have started at age 3 whenever I would hold or play with Crystal.

Don't let that happen to Harrison.

He's so cute. I'm sure Harrison will be well adjusted and will feel equally loved.

Don't feel too bad. We have that same problem at our house. When Eric was born we have a video that is over an hour long. Kaitlin has a 10 minute video. I have over 300 pictures of Eric from birth to about 2 months. I have take maybe 30 pictures of Kaitlin since she has been born. Poor kid. But in my defense, I spend nearly all of my time holding her because she wants to be held all the time. They are only small for a little while so I'll just hold her and try to make up for the lack of pictures later.

I struggle with the feeling guilty thing every day...how the heck do you give each kid individual attention? At least women are good multi-taskers. Who ever said raising them was easy? I think you do a great job...plus, give it some time and they will entertain/try to kill each other, depending on their mood. btw Harrison awake is darling.
