Today the park was calling our names. It was sunny and warm with a little breeze here and there, you can see how crazy our hair is because of that. But everyone knows that when the park calls you must go play.

Gwen is getting so big she was showing me how to use all the playscape toys.

Harrison loves the outdoors just as much as Gwen does, even when it is a little windy.

Thank goodness for the slides. What would childhood be without them.

Oh and just as we were getting ready to go I saw this GIANT ant on the bench, so I grabbed the water bottle lid so that we could see how big it really is, you know this is Texas so you go big or go home, at least that is what the bugs say. I guess this means that we better call the bug guy soon. James said that this ant is the one that they used in "Honey I shrunk the Kids". It very well could be.

Do those ants bite!? That's scary, nothing's worse than giant bugs. Lonna, you look like a movie star in this picture. I'm happy to see that somebody is enjoying good weather, I'm seriously contemplating moving to Texas. These wintertime blues are really cramping my style.
After a while, the creatures don't seem to be that much of a bother. Well, they do, but not as much.
Glad you got some park time in.
Nice sunglasses and hip bangs, Lonna.
I love that park! especially when we are smothered in snow! Wow! that is one huge ant!
Don't you just love the Giant bugs in Texas!!
Ok, first off....that ant must be on steroids. SCARY!!! Think of the bite that thing must have, if it has one ;-)
Second...your kids are super darling, you know I've always thought that. But oh my heck, Harrison is groooooowing so fast!!! Holy moly! I forgot how babies can do that.
Third, love your haircut and your stylish shades on you. You look like the hippest mom on the block!
I wish we could go to the park. I think it will be a while before the snow melts and we can even see the park.
You better keep a close eye on your kids- those gigantic bugs might carry them off! Yikes!
That is a HUGE ant! Wow! Glad you put the lid there so we could see actual size. Everything is bigger in Texas...
yep. everything is bigger in texas and that means we have texas size bugs. i'm so not a fan!
So there are the insects everyone's been warning me about. Hmmmmm. The only bug I have come across so far was a fruit fly! Not so exciting. Oh well, glad it didn't get in the way of a beautiful day at the park. I'd take that over shoveling snow any day!
