little Mt. Pleasant

Gwen and Grandpa having a little good night moment. Gwen loves to talk about Grandpa. She also loves to have him sing songs to her. What little girl wouldn't.
Here is Grandpa and Harrison. This was the first time that Grandpa Barlow and Harrison had met, and as you can see they are already good man friends. We saw a ton of snow there and it was really great to see our family and friends. Well the ones that were in our direct path of travel. But as for the snow storms that kept us on the SLC airport runway for an extra hour, not such a great time. I think that we may just have to look at the snow pictures and not venture into the unpredictable weather for awhile.

We did make it home alright, it was a really long trip home because of the snow storm that was right on our tail, but when we arrived at the Austin airport it was a humid 78˚. Man it sure felt nice to drive home with the sun blazing down and the A/C on. To all of our friends and family that are still in the waist deep snow, Austin is a lovely winter get away, and the invitation is always open for you to come and see us.

I'm glad you could have a little piece of a real winter, I'm convinced all Austin has is fake winters. We're not complaining though, are we? And snow is okay when you're the visitor and you don't have to shovel. Brent and Harrison are two peas in a pod. We are glad you're back though. Let's take the kids swimming.
