What's in a name?

Today marks the four month mark for Harrison, and so I thought that I would look up his name to see a little bit about what the future holds for him. Well I was really excited about this until I looked around and found that Harrison, meaning son of Harry, actually derived from the name Henry along the line somewhere, I was kind of hoping that it would have had its own beginning mark by its self instead of in another actual name, but it is alright because it is a strong name that means home ruler. Now throughout history there have been many great Henry's including many kings and powerful men, so for the record we are looking forward to seeing many great things from our Harrison, weather he learns them from us or someone else.

Oh and Mike and Kim you don't need to look up the meaning of Henry I have already done that for you. If you are still planning on using that name. Your welcome.

Interesting fact with the Harrison/Henry name play, my friends with my previous employer and Leslie all call me Henry, whose meaning I just discovered through your joyous blog, is very similar to Ryan (which means Little King).

Looks like Harrison and I have something in common.

Oh and something else Ryan might have mentioned he has in common with Harrison is what Syl brought up: sound lung capacity. :)
