almost a week?!!
I do realize that it has been almost a week since I have updated a new post, however I have to say that we have been rather boring lately and so there is sadly not too much to post on.
We have just recently bought yet another power cord for the laptop...lets just say that there is something about the power cord of the computer that a toddler just cannot resist! If that means that with each child we will be replacing it, as our current trend has been, we may not be able to afford anymore kids. (because you know that we could never sacrifice the computer, just kidding)
As September closes and October begins I just realized that I am in need of some Halloween costumes, Yikes I better get on that before all that is left in the stores are something like zombies or vampires. I am sure that a one year old would not look so great as something from the dead.
Is anyone else just getting started on the costume game, or am I the only one?

I can't believe it's October. I'm not sure what happened to September. It just flew by. I'm one of those people who is trying to figure out how I can get the costumes shipped to me with only a week left in October. I always wait way too long. This year I was more on top of things, but I know with the other things I have to get to finish off their costumes, I'll be out the day before trying to find them! I just hope that October doesn't fly by as fast as September!
Lonna.. I just got the costumes for my kids. Alyssa is going to be a cat(i know..but that is what she wanted) and Hayden is going to be Harry Potter, and Landen is going to be Optimus Prime. I let them choose this year, rather than me just buying them and bringing them home! I can't wait to see pics of Gwen and Harrison in their costumes.
Oh Lonna, October 1st and I am already behind! Last year I ordered the girls' kangaroo costumes back in AUGUST. It was a good thing too, because I didn't have to stress out come mid-October. My problem is this year the girls are old enough to know what's going on--so one day they want to be Tinkerbell and the next day Cinderella. I'm pretty sure we'll get mid-way through trick or treating and have a meltdown wanting to change costumes....Oh the drama! :) But so much fun! Trick or treating kills me every year, I think I have more fun than the kids with all this Halloween madness. Bring on October, I really can't wait.
I've actually already bought Liliana's costume. I only bought it because as I was shopping for winter clothes and I happen to see it was on sale at Babies R Us. I wasn't going to buy it because I really wanted to order a bumble bee costume online. But this costume at the store was way cheaper and just as cute. Liliana will be a lady bug this year. :) I can't wait to take her trick or treating for her first time!
Well...See, I have a classroom full of 20 small children adding input on my costume. And not only adding input, but demanding to know what I will choose. So... I think I'll go for little Rose's suggestion, a giant OREO!
Allie has been planning our costumes for the last 6 months. We are going as....clowns! Yep thats right we are going to be a family of clowns. Garrett was hoping to get away with just a wig and a nose but I think she and grandma have more planned than that. Oh well.
Jen B.
I learned from last year to not procrastinate, which left me with an elephant costume that was too small and that my child would only wear for 5 minute periods. So this year I was way on top of it and we have not one but TWO Halloween costumes so depending on our mood on October 31st we will either be superman or batman!!
Wanna go costume shopping??? Katelin thinks Seth should be a prince and she might be Rapunzel... I'm not sure about this.
