James and I got these really great picture frames about a year ago and except for the holidays have yet to fill them with something permanent. Until now. During the Christmas picture attempt James snapped this while adjusting the settings on the camera. The rest of the Christmas pictures didn't turn out so well, as a matter of fact we couldn't even get the kids to sit side by side on the couch for more than five seconds. But I love this one so much that I think that the chaos of the entire photo shoot was worth it.

Very cute! Her hair is always looking so great. I don't know how you do it. We are lucky if I even get around to brushing Abby's hair every day.
I loved the picture. She is so beautiful. Brent just showed it to me in the hospital and I really appreciated it.
It was so fun to hear her little voice in the hospital today. Thanks for calling so I could hear her!
I can see why you love it!
I have all but given up on trying to get frame-able portraits of my kids by posing them together. FORGET IT. It's candid, or nothing, most of the time. Unless I have a really powerful bribe.
But for that *one* shot? It's worth it!
That is a GREAT picture Lonna! And I love her hair too. Good job:)
I really like this picture. I promise to update my blog before he is 4 DVD's long.

Beautiful picture!
Good to catch up on the Barlows once in a while. I talk to you all the time, but when I read this I feel like I'm totally out of the loop. And don't forget you are a great mother!! :)
How do you french braid so well? You will have to teach me! The shot is a great one, I love the lighting.
What a great picture! I am very impressed with your talent for braiding Gwen's hair.
The braids are just the right tension I can see the eyes starting to slant. Good job, you learned well and I am so proud of you. It looks like a picture of you. Love mom
And what you so modestly failed to mention is how great it looks on your mantel! :)
Oh that Gwen is so gorgeous, I am glad to see a picture that showcases our little darling in all her beauty. I think those moments when they are focusing on something else rather than trying to smile for the camera display the essence of childhood in all its innocence. Well done James, even if it was only a warm-up.
Still loving the braids you do! Super cute picture. I'll have to do braids again with Claire soon. I haven't done them in FOREVER!
beautiful. Looks like Gwen is a natural model.
