all I want for Christmas
As the Christmas shopping days wind down, James and I realized that we need to go get the gifts that we have been talking about. For the past few months we have been asking each other what we would like, I know that this may surprise a few of you but Mr. Barlow informed me that he wanted cowboy boots. Yes you read that correctly. So tonight we took a little trip to get some things and boots ended up to be one of them. Stay tuned to see what they look like.
Alright so here they are, we are not really people that would make you wait, it is all about instant gratification around here.

Yee Haw ride em' cowboy! I never thought that he would actually want cowboy boots. I guess that I was wrong. It is a good thing that Santa knows what everyone really wants, because this spouse would have been wrong.

Love 'em! Go James!!!!
I love your boots, James! and don't forget, your boots are made for walking. Your Dad had a pair of cowboy boots too.
I would have never guessed it– I think you guys are really getting into this Texas thing! But I will admit, those are some might fine looking boots. :)
Merry Christmas!
I believe those are actually called 'shit kickers'....hahah, ok I'm sorry, but I just had to put that. My mom is from Roy and that's what all the cowboys called them. Anyway, they look great. My oldest brother got some and swears that they're the most comfortable foot-wear he's ever had. It's all he wears now (and he is not even remotely close to being a cowboy). Lonna, don't worry, my husband has cowboy boots too and he actually uses them for farming purposes.
Those are some pretty sweet kicks. I thought my dad had the finest boots in Texas but now I think Mr. James has stepped in.
I have been looking for shoes that color for a long time. It seems to go with everything, lucky James. Maybe I will have to search the cowboy boot aisle after all. This seems to be the Christmas for shoes because that is what Santa is bringing us too, at least we hope so. ;)
Love the boots! Brian told me once that he wants a pair of boots. Maybe if we vacation in Texas sometime we can pick out a pair.
Dad says, better beware, boots today, belt buckle tomorrow and then the Derb, we're starting down the road... but if he puts country music on the ipod, he's completely crossed over, he knows, his derb is hidden in the closet, I guess you could call him a closet buckeroo. BUT: they are some fine looking boots, who would have guessed that you'd have become real Texacans? Love the pictures, Way to go for the family smile shot. Love G& G Dattage
James,
Texas has got a hold of you now!!! AHH! They look nice though..
I used to wear boots in high school. complete with wranglers too! When you get your wranglers and 10 gallon hat, that is when I will worry!
Love
Suzy
Boot Scoot Boogie! I've wanted some but haven't yet taken the plunge. I've got "poser" boots, not there real thing.
