a tickle war and a fat lip

Earlier this evening Gwen and I were playing around. She would run away and then inch back towards me and I would catch her and tickle her. Well in one of these play moments she flopped down on the couch and I ran after her, when I "caught" her she threw her head back and it just so happened to bang right on my lip, immediately I felt it swell up. I went to check it out in the mirror and sure enough not only did I have a fat lip, but it broke a few blood vessels and now it just looks like my lip is bleeding. Nice right. The casualties of playing with my kids. I would post a picture, but lets be honest who wants to see a close up of my face, that is what I thought. I will say that I am just really glad that it wasn't a broken tooth or something like that, I don't know if I could bear to return to the dentist office for yet another broken/damaged tooth.
