Yesterday the weather was soooo nice. The perfect kind of day to visit the playscape and soak in a little needed vitamin D. So that is just what we did.

we played a little game of hid and seek...that is when we found out that Gwen wasn't really playing, just hanging around.

And giant Harrison stomped all around the place, more than happy to be outside in the sun.

We also found some rocks and dirt to play in and...

leaves and bark chips too. The best part was that when we finally made it back into the house we had a quick lunch and then super long naps. Now that is the way to spend the day with the kids. You know where we will be today if it is looking nice outside.

Doing a little blog walking this am and found myself here. Looks like the kids are having fun. Enjoyed seeing the sunshine too. We have snow on the ground here.
Have a good wkend.
Stop in for a visit, the welcome mats always out.

Glad you guys had fun in the sun. We haven't been able to get out yet, but hopefully today. Harrison is so grown up now I can't believe it.
Sounds like the perfect day... especially the long nap part!
ahh man, what I wouldn't give to be living in Austin right now. We're stuck in a giant fog/inversion and it's sending down some 'freezing rain'... I thought it didn't do that in Utah. Anyway, I can't believe how big and cute Harrison is. He is growing like a weed and just gets cuter by the second.
Enjoy the sun for me
Yum, the sun sounds nice! You are such a fun mom!
I wish we had nice sunny weather. It has been foggy and rainy for the past 2 days.
Oh is that the secret to how Gwen and Harry have such nice complexions? I would say a little vitamin D goes a long way, lucky kids!
I agree, it has been quite gorgeous here the last few days and we have spent time outside ourselves...my mom always says sunshine is like magic for kids. I'd say it's magic for moms if you get naps like that!
You know one of these days when you are up for it we will have to get the kids together on neutral ground, no fighting over toys or meltdowns over princess crowns (the claws come out). McDonalds and/or playgrounds, what do you say?
Why is it so fun to see pictures of everyone's kids on their blogs...even if they were at our house in person this morning? There is just something to knowing that other mom's are in the same boat, toting kids to the park and trying to create fun and exciting adventures each day...without going crazy :)!
Thanks for letting us peer into your life!!
Harry's smile is like sunshine itself! We have snow, you have sun....there is something wrong with the distribution of weather! I enjoyed seeing the kids play.
I am missing the sun, especially today. Hopefully it comes out again soon. We need another park day.
Looks like a nice playscape... we'll have to check it out sometime.
