Code Red

We are in a code red around our house because one of my little sidekicks has taken the camera. Now if your house is anything like ours there are secret hiding spots all over the place that the kids use every now and then, who am I kidding all the time. Well I have checked the regular ones like the pantry, James' shoes, the bathroom closet, the utensil drawer, and under the couch in our bedroom, but alas no luck.

I keep asking Harrison where he put the camera but he just starts giggling. I know that he can't answer me in a sentence, but that kid knows what I am saying and it is a big joke on mom that she can't find where it is stashed. So until I find the hiding spot (hoping that it was not in the kitchen garbage that I took out the other day) we are just going to have to use the camera phone, and some of the funny/strange things that the kids say and do around here. I hope that is not too boring, but I promise that we are still looking.

So those of you looking for the next instruction video on yoga moves will just have to wait. Sorry to disappoint all you workout lovers out there, but who doesn't like a little day or two off from exercise? You may even thank me for the little break.

We loose our camera on a regular basis. Have you checked all your laundry baskets, that's a popular hiding spot at our house.

Lonna, I just have start my comment by telling you how great I think you are for giving me such a sweet compliment on my blog. At a time when I feel far from cute, your comment made my day.

I have to laugh about your emergency situation. I can just picture little Harry giggling every time you ask him where the camera is. Best of luck finding it. Megan was playing with my baby shower invitations and passing them out throughout the house. We found 9 out of 10 and asked her where the 10th was... all we got was a little laugh and "I don't know". Kids are funny.

Your blog will not be boring without picutres, I can't wait to hear all of your funny stories about the kids.

Hmmm, good luck with finding the camera. Kids are sneaky. Oh well, your writing is always fun so I will still enjoy your posts.

We are in the same situation you are. Except, I know where mine is, it just won't turn on regardless of how new the batteries are. And none of the buttons work. Handy. I hope you find the camera soon. Most of the time our stuff ends up in the toilet or washer so I really hope that's not the case for you!

I hope you can find the camera! Kids are fun that way! Maybe they were trying to 'clean up' forgot where they put it!

The kids have never gotten a hold of my camera (yet) but they hide the TV remote from me all the time. I can't stand it when the TV remote is missing. Kaitlin likes to hide stuff in laundry baskets too.
