A mouth full

I just wanted to report that after three days of dealing with the tooth issue, and the longest dental appointment in history, I am now back to normal (besides the numbing effect wearing off). I still have all my teeth, and I hope that I don't have to do that again. To all of you who like to visit the dentist, you are better than I am, and you probably wouldn't have had this problem because of your faithfulness to the dentist. Thanks for all the support I really appreciate it.

I'm happy to hear that you survived the dentist! I have an appointment on Saturday for a cleaning. I hope they don't find any cavities.

Wow! I'm so glad to hear that you are done with the whole process. I know i work in a dental office but I don't blame you for not wanting to be there. It's not fun having problems with your teeth. At least you didn't have to get a crown and you got to enjoy their big screen t.v's and don't worry, you definitely won't be charged for their x-ray re-takes.

The last picture of Gwen playing in the paper shreds made Taylor and I laugh. We love the paper hanging off her face. It looks like the little girls really enjoyed themselves...

Ah Crystal I am so glad that it gave you a little laugh, I will admit that for some reason I too thought that it was really funny, even as it was happening. Which in my normal mentality I would have been so irritated. I think that it is because they were all laughing so hard, those little giggles are so fun.

The best part about the paper in Gwen's hair was that when I took her ponytail out that night a huge pile of them fell out. I have no idea how they were staying there,or how they got wedged in there. I wonder what other things she could hide in there.

I went to the dentist when I was 19years old with a cavity. I wish I had a parent with me or had gotten a second opinion, but I was all alone and the dentist recommended that he put in a bridge in my mouth because of this one tooth. It's the strangest thing to me when I look back on it. I would think there would have been other options. Oh well, sometimes you get what you get when it comes to these matters. Your appointment shouldn't have taken that long, I would assume. I hope you're all well now at least.

I wanted to save the horror stories for after, but I did have a cavity fall out (perhaps ripped out by the year-old candy I was eating) and had to have a crown put on! So I'm glad you came out alive, as I was certain my 9 year old self would not. I am glad the whole thing is over for you and that you don't have to go for at least another 6 mos. That reminds me I should get the twins to the dentist...I think the stickers would make the whole thing worthwhile.
