James' mom just got into town, and we went straight from the airport to Rudy's BBQ. Because you have to have BBQ when in Texas. That is just how it is. Here is Sylvia holding Harrison and Maddie. Gwen was playing the shy game.

So she sat by me and played with the toothpick bottle. Silly girl. After talking about grandma coming to visit for weeks, the moment arrives and she decided that she was not sure how to act. Don't worry she warmed up.

i'm salivating at the thought of rudy's creamed corn. yum! i hope this isn't the only stop at rudy's while she is here!!
Everybody warms up sooner or later.
I too am dreaming of the creamed corn and the banana pudding and the Dr. Pepper made with real sugar AND the breakfast tacos.... Ok, I LOVE RUDY'S!
When I come to visit will you take me for some famous TX BBQ?
I pulled into Rudy's tonight, but drove back out because there was no place to park. It was hoppin' with customers on a Friday night. That's nice that Sylvia came to visit the Texans.
I think it is safe to say that Harrison has outgrown both twins...combined. :) I love how every time I see him he's just had a growth spurt, does that mean we don't see you enough? Rudy's was great and thank you for coming to the rescue (again) with crayons and activities for bored toddlers! I am so glad you introduced us to Rudy's within 3 hours of pulling into Texas, we have been grateful ever since!
