little buddies
On Thursday morning Gwen and Harrison were playing this funny little game where one of them would reach out their hand and the other would grab it, then they would just hold hands for a few seconds, and then start over again. It is really fun to see Harrison playing along with Gwen. I am pretty sure that he thinks that he is 2.
Later that morning we were able to go and play in Sierra's pool. Abby is taking swim lessons and she showed Gwen some tricks. Gwen didn't quite get it. But she did do tons better in the water.
As you can see here she is climbing and jumping about. Getting in and out of the pool and spa all alone. She wanted to do it all.
She was playing in the water pretty much the whole time we were there, she did escape to play in the dirt a couple times, but that is typical Gwen. Now all day long she talks about playing in the water with Abby and Hannah. We sure do love pools in the summer.

I love that moment when they realize they can play together instead of next to each other. Very cute pictures.

your kids are at such great ages where they will be such great friends. I'm glad Gwen is getting adjusted to swimming. Before you know it, she'll be doing flips off the side of the pool!!
could your kids get any cuter!? Seriously, that second picture just pulls out the ol' heart strings. I'm glad that little gwennie is getting adjusted to pool life because I can think of no better way to spend my summers, especially if I were living in sweltering Austin.
Ahh swimming! I am really glad to hear Gwen knows what to do in the pool. Now she can divide her time between dirt and water. A true kid combination. You tell Harrison he can't be two yet! I need to see him before he leaps into the twos!
I'm glad Gwen is liking the water more, and Harrison always seems to be up for anything, I love it. Hopefully that means you'll be coming over more to swim with us!

Okay, if my pool is not done this week, I'm heading over to Sierra's parents' house with my swimsuit and kids (and their suits)!
Their pool looks SO pretty and I love how they make a little game out of walking around the spa. I like Gwen's swimsuit too.
I love it! I can't get over how cute and chunky Harrison is, and Gwen is so pretty! I know you hear it all the time but it is true!
First, Gwen's hair is so long. I rarely see it down. Beautiful! Secondly, that pool looks so inviting. I'd love to jump in it right now. Looks super fun!
Oh I think Harry has spent his whole life aspiring to be at Gwen's level. At the rate he's growing, he could totally pass for two. Maybe at some point you can just consider them twins. :) One of these days you may be able to work on a project while they entertain each other, a blessing and a curse because of the brawls. I do love to hear about the activities they come up with!
I love those pool days, there is nothing better for both moms and kids.
