out and about
Over the last few days we have been out and around town doing a few different things. On Wednesday we were able to go to lunch with friends, and on that trip discovered that Gwen is not allowed to sit by the napkin dispensers. 
Here she and Abby take turns pulling out the napkins. Between bites of ice cream of course.
Then on Thursday we went to a local pool with a few friends from our ward, I didn't take my camera out until the end, but here are a few shots just to give you an idea .
We dominated this side of steps. I am sure that you can guess where we are...yeah not in the water.
I had just changed Harrison and he was having a hard time keeping his eyes open. I guess that means that he played really hard. With the heat around here I am sure that we are going to attempt the pool a few more times. If we had a yard I might try the sprinkler, but since we don't I guess the pool will have to do, not that I am complaining. We are on our 26th day of record heat, and it is barely June.

I think the pool is a very good idea! Record heat huh? It has been so cold here that I have had to cover the tomatoes every night and it is the middle of June! My brother Alan has spent some good time in their crawl space because of tornadoes. I think everyone is having weird weather.
It looks fun by the pool but sorry it is so hot. I'm sure Gwen had fun pulling all the napkins out; a good passtime!

We have done some fun stuff lately, and hopefully lots more to come. And let me just tell you how much I love the picture of myself and Hannah!!
Lonna, just like at concerts, I'm checking bags a the door for cameras when people come to my pool, just as a forewarning. Paige's suit sure is cute.
I'm glad you're having some fun in the sun with the kids.
i expect by the next time i see you, gwen will be doing a swan dive off the side of the pool!! if not gwen, i'm sure harrison will have a try at it!!
I attempted the pool with both kids last week (after your inspiring blog), but Thursday I just couldn't face it... Looks like everyone had fun though. Even if you weren't in the pool.
Hey, better pulling out napkins than licking the salt shakers, which is what my kids do!
Oh have I mentioned this heat is killing me...We too struggle with emptying out all the condiments at all the restaurants. I finally let the kids eat sugar packets, what's the harm? We love pool days and can't make it a day without one. I secretly do it for the naps.
I'm going to miss our playgroup so much. Are you trying to make me cry!?!?! I was glad we got to hang out a bit at this pool. It was a nice change of pace. :) Also, much thanks for posting a picture of my behind! I just love those type of photos.
