see kids run...see kids play

Gwen got this kaleidoscope the other day and she was on the lookout for funny things that might be going on around our house.
Here she is standing on her stool taking in the scene.
Yep that is a pretty funny looking kaleidoscope. It is actually a blimp that is promoting the kids choice awards for Nickelodeon. Hmmmm interesting product placement.
But it sure does get the job done.
I looked out the window and the kids had taken their stools outside and were sitting side by side talking, it was so cute. Look at those little heads just peeking over the window.
Then the kids were playing this funny game where they climbed on the railing and tipped their heads backwards and laughed and laughed and then repeated the process...and I learned in this little game that Gwen is not nearly as flexible as Harrison is.
Look at that kid, he is practically doing a back bend. Way to go Harrison! maybe you can be the next Paul Hamm in the Olympics. I wonder if James would mind if his son went to gymnastics and ran around in the male version of a leotard?

Pretty sure our kaleidoscope got stolen from our table, Abby was a little disappointed. How fun! I love Gwen's cute dress and they look like they play so well together. How nice that must be!

What do people with only one child do to entertain that only child all day? Honestly, I am so glad my kids have each other to play with because they are great friends and instant playmates.

I saw Dr. Solomon today and he says that you two used to have a great time at your appointments. He thinks very highly of you and said to say "hi". Maybe it's time you head back into that office :)!

oh no, I have to retype that whole thing again?
a recap: yes, put Harry in gymnastics! It will be like the Iron Gym times a thousand! (I say that because the Iron Gym is the #1 topic of conversation around here.) And I really wish my back bent like that, I would be much better at back bends, back walkovers, all the essentials of elementary school recess. :)
As always, Gwen is quite the fashionista. Can you find that dress in my size so we can match? Of course the look is not complete without the trademark french braids, though I tried to do them per the twins' request and failed miserably. I have been loving this weather lately, it looks like it was another day of sunshine and fresh air for you guys. And another day of editing for the hubbies, what's new?

I am glad to see a picture of Gwen in the dress you picked out! I thought it was such a cute dress. Harrison should definitely be in gymnastics, I can tell he is already going to be a muscular guy.
