sneek peek
I don't know how many of you are Star Trek fans out there, but James' work screens lots of movies before they come out for the public to see, and he happend to get us on the list to sit in on this screening last night.
Well I did some pleading for a babysitter, and before I knew it we were sitting in the reserved seating with some of James' coworkers and right behind the press and critics seats. Brilliant! It felt like forever before the movie started but I totally think that it was worth it. In short I liked the movie. Now I may not know all the trivia or even all the details of the originals, but I knew enough to enjoy the show, and even catch some inside jokes. So if you are on the fence about seeing it, or you are not sure if it is going to work with the originals go ahead and see it, and enjoy. Oh but I guess that you will have to wait until the 8th.

Oh!!! You lucky!!! I love Star Trek! How exciting to get to see it before everybody else!
How fun to be there for the screening. Glad you liked it and even better since the kids were home with a babysitter! Hooray.
how lucky can you be?? Reserved seats right behind the critics!? I for one, have never been a Treky, however, I recently found out my husband loved it... (I guess that explains his nerdy scifi obsession). Every time we see a preview he gets super excited. He is going to be so jealous about your early screening.
Your dad is so excited for it to come out he real does like star trek (any generation), just the whole scifi of it. I'm really glad you got to go see it we'll let you know how we fell after we've had that opportunity. Love you guys.
How fun!!! Does this make you a treky now?
i have to admit that I have never seen an episode of star trek. My mother in law would die if she heard me say that since she is such a treky. Glad it was a fun night.
Sylar as Spock????
How fun for you and James!
Not many people know but I'm a Star Trek fan. I watched it religiously when I was a kid and here and there while I've been an adult. I watch it less now because of the grief I get from Chris, but we are both looking forward to seeing this movie! I'm glad you liked it! I'm so excited, I hope the guy who plays Spock isn't too creepy!
