The Texas Way

It is that time again, Spring, and around here that means Blue Bonnets! You know the drill take the kids out and let them romp around and get some fun and really cute photos. So here are just a few of them that say a lot about the kids. ( now mind you that we tried posing the kids or having them do certain things but in the end it was just snapping the photos of the kids before they took off.)
Ready, set, go...
Good work kids, make them think that you like each other, Perfect!
Yes they are playing around the tree, not the actual reason that we were there, the flowers kids the flowers.
Better Gwen, but you are still holding a flower that is probably a weed. Whatever works is what I say.
We will take it.
Oh Harrison that photo almost makes me forget that I have to pull random things out of the toilet because of your creativity.
I guess this means that Summer is on its way, the Blue Bonnets are fading fast, so maybe we will be heading to the pool soon, um that is if Gwen decides not to go crazy and walk into the deep end of the water. Thanks kids for standing still here and there for the camera, maybe next year we will work on posing.

Um....could you do my emotional state a favor and take down that little thermometer thing in the corner of your blog?! And while you're at it, all pictures in summer clothes and sunshine?! Ha...just kidding, but I am extremely jealous! It's FREEZING here, as always. As in, I was just out on a walk and could see my breath. It's almost MAY!

As Mike always says 'Pictures are way better if they're not posed'. Lonna, these look fantastic, and that first picture of little Gwen...she looks like an angel! Check out those eyelashes! And I could just take a bite out of little Harrison, he's so delicious, hahaha.

I love the pictures of the kids in the blue bonnets! They are so beautiful and photograph really well. The tree in the corner by the rock and trampoline is in bloom and then it snowed yesterday....I am afraid that is spring around here...no lovely blossoms for long.

Posing?! What are you talking about those were great pictures, you would never have know they weren't posing except they didn't have the fake smile they put on when posing. They are beautiful. Sometimes being cute is the only thing saving my kids from the memory of the chaos they have created. :)

You are a great photographer. Especially for not getting the kids to pose like you wanted.
I think everyone has already posted my thoughts, you know, warm there, cold here, no fair. Actually it is starting to warm up nicely and then you can be jealous of us instead because we wont have humidity. :)

Lonna you are turning in to a great little photographer. those are great shots of the kids and so reflective, almost like posed. It looks to me like it is in the country somewhere not the huge city of Austin. But I guess even Austin has it's aesthetic hideaways. Good Job everyone. Love grandma
