On Thursday we took a little adventure to the Brushy Creek fountain park. It is this fun little park that has a big area full of all different kinds of sprinklers/fountains. they shoot up from the ground at different times and places. It is really fun.

Harrison was so into the water that I pulled him out of the stroller and he was having so much fun watching the water, and having is legs and feet get wet. Gwen on the other hand was in the water for maybe 2 minutes, and then you could find her...

playing in the trees...

taking a walk with Grandma...

rock climbing...

playing in the sand, which we later found in her car seat and bed, that sand sure gets everywhere. After some fun in the sun we went home and had some really great naps, then we drove downtown to get James and went to have some classic tex mex dinner at Chuy's. An Austin staple.

Here is Gwen after dinner playing outside, and eating a treat from the little .25 candy machines. (that is why she has the chewing face). We were also able to get in a little shopping, and cherry limeades, what a great day.
On Friday afternoon we took a trip to central market on a mission to find red lentils. We may not have found what we were looking for, but we did have a really great time and came home with some really fun treats. We were going to play outside for a bit, but it was 100˚ outside so we decided to skip that for the day. Grandpa Barlow come in on Saturday and the adventures continue. We can't wait.

Ok. So there were so many women who looked amazing in their suits, yourself included, and you choose to show me on your blog with my gross legs and my belly hanging out!! We'll be back to the water park and we'll make sure to get Gwen comfortable with the water.
I'm glad you made a trip back to Central Market. I love that store. Did you happen to pick up any sour cherry coke bottles for me? That adn the tortillas are reason enough for me to go!! Glad you are having such a great weekend with your inlaws.
What are you talking about Paige, you look great!
How fun it has been to have an extra set of hands to help catch kids that run rampant, not to mention all the other things we love about grandmas. We will have to try that park, thank goodness we've got the whole summer ahead of us! I'm glad your trip to central market was fun, I've been craving gummi frogs ever since.
