a famous yummy treat
If you know me, you know that I love dounuts. And it turns out that we live quite close to a famous place. Round Rock Dounuts is known for its yellow/orange dough, and icing. James and Ryan were coming home from some video stuff on Saturday and stopped in for a little treat. James brought some home, and they were still warm, yes my friends that fresh. If my stomach would have allowed I am sure that I would have eaten them all. It is a good thing that we don't live closer, I think that I might live there.

I can't tell you the last time I had a round rock donut, but I do remember them being very good. I'm not a huge donut fan but I would eat a round rock donut for sure!!
Those look delicious! I haven't had a doughnut in ages.
I haven't had a donut in ages either. they weren't ever my favorite, but, they do look good and I just had some dinner. Sounds like you kids have a lot of fun and are getting a chance to see the scenery. that is very wonderful, I lived in Canada my whole growing up years and never even saw 1/10th of it. Keep up the good adventures. Love Mom and Dad
Lonna,
Hello! I'm peeking at your blog, and I've had these before. They actually did a whole thing on them on the Food Network a year or so ago, so naturally I had to investigate for myself. They're delicious!
I love donuts too. Why are the donuts that color? Put that place down on our list to visit for our next trip!
I love donuts, I'll have to try them out. What the heck did I do when I lived in Austin?? I never did any of the fun stuff you guys do. Maybe you will have to show us around when we get there next week...and I tagged you!
oh yes, warm donuts are a small glimpse into what heaven will be like.....
I always loved "temple night" when I was younger because every time my parents would come home they would bring us back some warm donuts from a dumpy little donut shop on Washington Blvd. called Lee's. Since then poor Lee's closed down and I have been sans wonderful warm donuts. These pictures are making me jealous.
Oh we know nothing good ever comes of James and Ryan's excursions. :) We too finished off an entire box in, well, quicker than I'd like to admit. I am blaming my kids for that one. I think I barely even got one, maybe only 1/2, ha ha. This picture is making me hungry, I think it's time for another box!
I hear these are pretty tasty, AND I've even seen them featured on the Food Network!
We are die hard doughnut fans in our family. In our last house before we moved here, we walked to the doughnut shop every Saturday morning. I was probably 10 lbs. heavier!
Yum! I love donuts. The place on Anderson Mill has pretty good ones.
